We provided adventure rides the first 21 years in downtown Calistoga as the Glider of Calistoga (Napa Valley) and now located a short drive north in Northern California's Lake County, adjacent to Napa Valley wine country, Crazy Creek Gliders launches from its home at the Middletown Gliderport.

Glider Ride Adventure

Nestled in a small scenic valley in the Northern California Mayacmas Mountain range, the area serves as the perfect spot for the ultimate glider ride. Incredible views and colorful rural vistas showcase vineyards, the largest fresh water lake in California, geothermal steam clouds produced by nearby geysers, and even the remnants of an ancient volcano.

GREAT LOCAL WEATHER - No Summer Fog

Our area does not have the summer fog that covers Napa and Sonoma counties. The Napa Valley Balloon Rides come to our area to fly during the summer. Soaring conditions are superb year-round, with thermal soaring in Spring, Summer and Fall, and wave soaring in Winter.

Our FAA certified commercial pilot will fly the glider so you can enjoy the view and get away from it all and soar high above this little piece of heaven we call Lake County.  Leave your cares behind as you take in the breathtaking panoramic scenery from high above, gliding on wings of air.

Biplane Rides

Re-live the barnstorming days of aviation
in a vintage biplane!

You may have flown in airplanes before, but you haven't truly experienced flying until you've had the pleasure of feeling the wind blowing through your face in a bi-plane!  There's just something special about the experience of taking off into the wild blue yonder with nothing more than a tiny windshield in front of you.

The fact that we fly out of Lake County makes these flights just that much more special, because you're surrounded by what is considered by many people to be some of the most naturally gorgeous scenery on Earth.

Fly over Mt. St. Helena and the Mayacamas mountain range, to view plumes of smoke from several geysers and into the Napa Valley.  Or you may prefer to fly around our Beautiful Clear Lake, one of the oldest lakes in California, for a panoramic view that will take your breath away!

Aside from the scenery, the planes themselves are also works of art - they're beautifully restored, and they act as a truly proper tribute to the barnstormers who first brought aviation to the masses almost 100 years ago.
